Honest answers to the questions we hear the most often

Session Rates & Availability

A 60-minute session — whether marriage counseling or individual counseling — is $200. Intensives and The Numa Program
are structured and priced differently, and we're happy to walk you through those details when you reach out.

Numa Marriage Counseling does not accept insurance, but we do offer the flexibility of in-person sessions at our
Southlake office or telehealth sessions from wherever you are.

Every person and every relationship is different, so the length of your counseling journey isn't one-size-fits-all — we'll talk
through what might work best for you during your consultation or first session together.

How can therapy help me?

Counseling provides support, problem-solving skills, and coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, grief, and stress. Many people find that counseling helps them understand themselves more deeply, improve their relationships, develop new processing strategies, and make lasting change. The benefits depend on how actively you engage the process.

Do I really need therapy? I can usually handle my problems.

Everyone goes through challenging seasons. There is nothing wrong with seeking support when you need it. Seeking counseling reflects self-awareness and a willingness to take responsibility for your life. Therapy provides lasting tools to help you avoid triggers, redirect damaging patterns, and overcome whatever challenges you are facing.

Reaching out for help is a sign of strength - not weakness.

Is your counseling faith-based?

Brady G. Daniel brings a faith-integrated approach to every session when that is meaningful and welcome to the client. Christian faith and clinical practice are held together - never forced and never hidden. If you do not identify with a faith background, you are equally welcome at Numa. Brady works with clients across the full spectrum of faith experience.

What should I expect in the first session?

The first session is a structured intake conversation. Brady will gather background information about your history, your current concerns, and your goals for counseling. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether Numa is the right fit.

Every journey begins with one honest conversation.

How long does counseling take?

There is no universal timeline. Some clients see significant movement in six to ten sessions. Others work through deeper patterns over a longer period. Brady will discuss timeline expectations with you in your first session based on what you are navigating and what your goals are. The pace is always honest and never rushed.
