I did not set out to become a marriage counselor. I set out to help people. After nearly two decades of doing exactly that, I have learned that the most important work I do happens in the space between two people who love each other but cannot find their way back to one another.
I am Brady G. Daniel. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, a doctoral student in Marriage and Family Therapy at Liberty University, and the founder of Numa Marriage Counseling in Southlake, Texas. I have spent the last 20 years walking alongside individuals and couples through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Betrayal. Disconnection. Grief. The slow erosion of a marriage that once felt unbreakable. And the quiet, sacred work of putting it back together.
This is not just what I do. It is who I am.

Founder, Numa Marriage Counseling · Southlake, Texas
Clinical insight. Biblical truth. Twenty years in the room
with real people doing real work.
My clinical work began in the church. For nearly a decade I served on staff at churches in the Dallas Fort Worth area, counseling
individuals and families, leading ministry, and learning something that has shaped everything I do since. Spiritual wounds are
real wounds. And the church, as much as it offers healing, can also be a source of deep hurt. That experience is why so many of my
clients today are people who love God but feel lost, burned out, or quietly falling apart inside a marriage that looks fine from the outside.
From there I moved into private practice, where I built Numa Marriage Counseling around a single conviction. That every couple who
walks through the door deserves someone who will take their marriage as seriously as they do. Not someone who will manage their
symptoms or fill the hour with reflective listening. Someone who will help them move.
I have sat with couples who did not think their marriage could survive what they were going through. I have watched many of those
same marriages come back to life. Not perfectly. Not without scars. But genuinely, sustainably, beautifully alive in ways they could not
have imagined when they first called. That is what keeps me in this work.

Look Up, Lean In, and Breathe!
My Approach
I work from a limbic system framework. That means I am not just looking at what you say to each other. I am looking at what is happening beneath the words, in the emotional patterns, the attachment wounds, the places where your body is still carrying what your mind has not fully processed.
My clinical approach draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic principles, and the truth of Scripture. I am also trained in Gottman-informed methods and use the AWARE to BLESS framework I developed through years of working with couples in crisis.
Faith is not an add-on to what I do. It is the foundation of it. I believe God designed marriage for wholeness and that restoration is possible because I have seen it happen.
Helping Marriages Thrive Through Faith, Science, and Hope
The Body, Soul and Spirit.
We will assess the body, the soul, and spirit to see where change needs to happen to walk in harmony with heaven.
The body is the external and internal structure that houses the soul and spirit. The soul and spirit have a significant impact on the body. We will explore the ways your body may be crying out for help through pain. We will listen to the body to understand the message it is communicating and what it is asking for, so that it can return to a state harmony. Pain | Tension | Harmony
Pain | Tension | Harony
The soul is compound of the mind, will, emotions, and the imagination. While there is more to the soul, these are the areas we focus on most. The mind relates to how we think. The will reflects how we choose. Emotions express how we feel. We will assess the entanglements and attachments that may be causing problems. Mind | Will | Emotions | Imagination
The Spirit. Spiritual beings need an invitation to take residence, which is why agreement is so important in Scripture. Everything we do and say has the potential to come into agreement with one of two agreements. We will examine bloodline curses, iniquities, willful sin, and areas of alignment with the kingdom of darkness to understand how these agreements may be causing entanglements in the soul and problems.
Mission | To provide faith-integrated, clinically grounded marriage and individual counseling that meets people in their pain, addresses the root - not just the symptoms - and restores what God brought together. "Fantastic"
Fantastic! Brady does an excellent job of helping me identify the core issues bothering me and helping me treat these areas. I’ve had great success using the techniques he taught me and feel more at peace and comfortable with my past and present. I highly recommend Brady to anybody who needs somebody to talk to in therapy.

"Good Experience"
My daughter has had a good experience with therapy. Brady has done a great job relating to her and her interests. I think he does a great job of explaining things for her to understand. He also gives her things to think about and homework to do on her own. I believe these skills will stay with her throughout life. She looks forward to their visits.
