Discover the spirit of NUMA

Numa was born out of a season of pain in 2017. I had just been let go from a ministry position, and with no clear direction for what to do next, God gave me the vision for Numa. I accepted the assignment, but I did not truly believe in it. It took nearly eight years before I was ready to start believing in this calling. During that time, I served on staff at another church, worked for two different practices, took a job at a daycare, washed cars for a dealership, and even started another practice. I thought it was all part of God’s plan, but in reality, it was me avoiding submission and obedience to the vision God had given me. Through more pain and struggle, I finally acknowledged that I had been running and accepted what God had for me in Numa.

In 2021, after spending time on staff at a church, God called me to refocus my energy on counseling. While helping a friend develop his practice, God began placing it on my heart to give Numa my full attention. In 2022, I redirected my focus back to Numa. Later that year, Numa joined a naturopathic practice to begin offering those services as part of its mission. Two and a half years later, God pressed me once again to return to the place He had called me to all those years ago. This time, I am ready because I have learned how to be. Welcome to the Numa practice. This is a place I once didn’t believe I was worthy to start. It took eight years of God working on me to bring me here so I can now help others believe differently.

Numa offers a mind-body connection that creates space for validation. It is through this validation that we can invite God's presence, allowing integration to take place. One of the most destructive patterns in humanity is disintegration caused by invalidation. The body, mind, and spirit begin to function independently rather than in harmony, and when this happens, anger and anxiety can arise, along with other difficult emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. These are the areas we seek to assess, process, and express in order to move forward.

What others are saying

Fantastic! Brady does an excellent job of helping me identify the core issues bothering me and helping me treat these areas. I’ve had great success using the techniques he taught me and feel more at peace and comfortable with my past and present. I highly recommend Brady to anybody who needs somebody to talk to in therapy.

- Oskar N.

My daughter has had a good experience with therapy. Brady has done a great job relating to her and her interests. I think he does a great job of explaining things for her to understand. He also gives her things to think about and homework to do on her own. I believe these skills will stay with her throughout life. She looks forward to their visits.

- Mendee W.

Brady is an amazing man and counselor! I worked with Brady and can tell you that he’s wise, caring, and an amazing listener. His hunger and thirst to constantly learn and improve can be felt in the wisdom he shares. His desire to help and be there for people combined with his integrity and love for God makes him a great place to land for perspective and counsel.
